A free forum on anything to do with horses
The Horsetalk noticeboard is provided as a free public service for horse lovers of all ages to discuss anything to do with horses. Bad or offensive language is not acceptable. Likewise, this is not a forum for making accusations about others. If you have concerns about the actions of other horse owners, you should approach your local SPCA so that it can be dealt with properly. Those horses are just in the holding yards and as said above have probably just come off the truck or put in yards just to get soem close up pics, Gary does his best to find homes for the good ones, tis sad when these perfectly good horses get sent to the works especially when the actual works dealer is the one with enough conscience to at least TRY and find homes for them....
We are heading up tomorrow hopefully to pick up a heavily infoal mare. I would love to fill the truck but I put my grown up hat on. Of course nothing is set in stone so maybe I will end up with a yearling too. Just have to be sensible. I have heaps of grass now but summer is a different ball game.
